Havent painted landscape in a while- kinda lost sight of why I was doing it- but yesterday I realized doing these little simple problem solving exercises really helps solve some of the bigger problems I have throughout the day.
The colors up here in Marin have definitely shifted with the season...goodbye luscious green fields...

i'm glad you're doing these nature paintings...makes me wish i was back in Marin county again - out painting with ya, that would be pretty ideal. =0)
thanks james- wish you were here too- I will always be thankful about being able to live and work in the bay area.
i tell ya bud...i miss SF. but i miss NY too. i havent felt comfortable here in LA, but we'll be off soon enuff. depends when i recover from my operation next month.(still no date yet tho)
